Roy is surprised when Thea (Willa Holland) not only encourages him to help, but joins the search. Sin (guest star Bex Taylor-Klaus) asks Roy (Colton Haynes) for help when a friend of hers goes missing. Meanwhile, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) takes a liking to Barry, which doesn't go unnoticed by Oliver. Oliver senses there is more to Barry than meets the eye, but he's distracted by the similarities between this current case and something that happened on the island. Citing a similar case back home, Barry offers to help Oliver (Stephen Amell) and team with the investigation. In the "The Scientist" episode of Arrow, a seemingly impossible robbery at Queen Consolidated's Applied Sciences Division brings Central City police scientist Barry Allen (guest star Grant Gustin) to town.

We're expecting that there is a good possibility that "The Scientist" episode could set a new ratings record for Arrow. There's been a lot of online chatter and concern over if Gustin looks too young to play the Flash, but most are reserving judgment to see how he does in tonight's Arrow episode. In "The Scientist," comic book fans will get their first look at Grant Gustin as Barry Allen. Tonight is probably the most anticipated episode of Arrow in the history of the series.
